About the Role

This pivotal role involves delivering essential service plans to our customers and their sites, addressing various technical faults, and executing planned maintenance for our products. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be an integral part of a national Field Service Engineering Team, providing swift and effective solutions to customer issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering Essential Service Plans: We require someone with experience in technical fault identification, repair, testing and modification of actuators in the field. You'll also handle mechanical and electrical installations of actuators, along with associated retrofit adaptations of components, pedestals, and drive shafts.
  • Technical Expertise: A good understanding of basic electronics, electrical and fluid power theories is essential, as well as the ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
  • Customer Interaction: As a Global Flow Control Specialist, you will interact with customers, identifying faults, conducting repairs, and providing accurate and technical site visit reports for each job completion.

Requirements

  • Technical Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or relevant industry.
  • Education: HND or BSc in a related field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering).
  • Skills: Ability to work in stressful situations, excellent communication skills, 'can-do' attitude, and full valid driving license.
