Competitive Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Location: Carlisle

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Shift Technologist to join our team at our Carlisle site. As a Shift Technologist, you will ensure product safety, hygiene standards, quality assurance, and associated control systems are maintained within the factories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact suppliers if ingredients are defective.
  • Address non-conformance and escalations to the quality/ departmental manager.
  • Manage a team of quality controllers.

About You:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced quality controller or document controller looking for the next challenge within the food manufacturing industry.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Level 3 food safety qualification (essential).
  • Experience within the food industry, manufacturing, machinery, or automation preferred but not essential.
  • Team leading experience.
