Job Title: Lead Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Lead Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Building Careers UK. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing financial matters related to construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take the lead in all financial matters related to construction projects
  • Manage cost estimates, budgets, and procurement processes
  • Conduct thorough cost analysis, identifying potential areas for cost-saving measures
  • Prepare and evaluate subcontractor agreements
  • Collaborate with the project team to monitor and control project expenses
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Mentor and support junior members of the quantity surveying team
Requirements:
  • Experience of working for a main contractor on similar-sized projects
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
