About the Role
Athena Healthcare Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to lead our team of Healthcare Assistants in providing exceptional care to our residents. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that each individual's right to independence and choice are met, while maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Healthcare Assistants to provide person-centred care to residents
- Ensure accurate care and medical records are maintained
- Instill a positive work environment and promote a culture of respect and dignity
- Support the care team and hold regular supervisions and appraisals
- Liaise with health professionals and relatives to achieve the best care outcomes for residents
- Maintain a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors, adhering to all safety requirements
About You
We are looking for a candidate who is a team player, has an eye for accuracy, and is proactive and enthusiastic about delivering high-quality care. You will have strong communication skills, good leadership skills, and the ability to use initiative.
