About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to join our team at Michael Page Scotland. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our clients in the property industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sales and purchase ledgers, including raising invoices and processing payments.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Administer electronic and manual bank records, as well as credit card and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Prepare VAT returns and maintain accurate record management.
Requirements
  • A solid foundation in Accounting and Finance, with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and proficiency in relevant software applications.
