Main Duties

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic dietitian to lead our Heart Failure and Cardiology Dietetic service and provide leadership for the other three Chronic diseases teams (Bariatrics, Diabetes & Renal) based at St George's Hospital in Tooting, London. The successful applicant will be well-supported by the Consultant Dietitian & Professional Lead for Dietetics and Principal Dietetic team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Heart Failure and Cardiology Dietetic service
  • Provide leadership for the other three Chronic diseases teams (Bariatrics, Diabetes & Renal)
  • Develop and implement dietetic services to meet the needs of patients with chronic diseases
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
  • Contribute to the development of dietetic services and policies
Requirements
  • BSc / Postgraduate diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics
  • HCPC current registration
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Postgraduate experience of working in acute and/or community dietetic services at advanced level
  • Experience of undertaking clinical audit/research in relevant clinical area
  • Experience in the clinical supervision of students/junior staff
  • Experience of multidisciplinary team working
  • Experience in teaching and education to patient groups and healthcare professionals in relevant clinical area
