Job Summary
St. George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a leading healthcare provider in south west London, Surrey, and beyond. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic dietitian to lead our Heart Failure and Cardiology Dietetic service and provide leadership for the other three Chronic diseases teams based at St George's Hospital in Tooting, London.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of dietitians and providing clinical leadership for the Heart Failure and Cardiology Dietetic service. They will also be responsible for providing leadership for the Bariatrics, Diabetes, and Renal services.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a BSc or Postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics, be registered with the HCPC, and have evidence of continuing professional development. They will also have postgraduate experience of working in acute and/or community dietetic services at an advanced level, experience of undertaking clinical audit/research in a relevant clinical area, and experience in the clinical supervision of students/junior staff.
