**NHS Job Opportunity:** Clinical Fellow Emergency Department

 

The NHS is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Fellow to join our team at the University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This exciting opportunity allows you to gain valuable experience in Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine, working closely with experienced Consultants and Registrars.

 

This fixed-term 2-month position is perfect for ST1-2 Level Doctors looking to expand their skills and knowledge in the field of Infectious Diseases. As a Clinical Fellow, you will be responsible for managing common acute and chronic infectious diseases, working in the inpatient ward teams and the emergency walk-in service for returning travelers.

 

In this role, you will have the chance to work in the national referral centre for Tropical Medicine and tertiary Infectious Diseases service, providing unparalleled experience in managing tropical and imported infections. Additionally, you will be part of the on-call CMT rota for Infectious Diseases, further developing your clinical skills.

 

To be successful in this position, you must have completed foundation training or equivalent by the start date. You should also have experience in clinical infectious diseases, including imported infections, and possess excellent practical skills. Evidence of commitment to pursuing a career in Infectious Diseases or related specialties is also essential.

About the Role:

• Work in the inpatient infection service at UCLH and the emergency walk-in clinic at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases

Salary and Benefits:

$49,909 per year + London weighting (out-of-hours as per JD)
