About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Domiciliary Care Manager to lead our care team at Shotover View and Isis Court Extra Care Housing Schemes.
As a Deputy Domiciliary Care Manager, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding care to our clients, while encouraging your team to always do their best.
You will work closely with the Domiciliary Care Manager to manage the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service, focusing on giving our clients a real sense of security, dignity, and independence.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing care plans through continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Leading a small care team to deliver high-quality care to our clients.
- Ensuring the wellbeing of our clients and supporting them with daily tasks.
- Managing rotas and payroll, performance reviews, interviewing, and inductions for new starters.
- Working collaboratively with the care team to achieve outstanding care outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma or NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Proven experience of caring for vulnerable individuals with a commitment to providing high-quality care at all times.
- Previous supervisory experience in the health and social care sector.
- Confidence in working on your own and using your own initiative to resolve problems and deal with queries.
- Access to transport and willingness to travel to other schemes as required.
