Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Primary Care 24. As a key member of our urgent care service, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing and providing advice, care and management to children and young people presenting with undiagnosed or undifferentiated illness.

You will work autonomously, demonstrating clinical reasoning, critical thinking and advanced practice skills, supported by GP colleagues in the Urgent Care Centre based on site at Alder Hey Children's Hospital.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, or equivalent level of practice evidenced through a recognised credentialing process
  • Full NMC Registration with no restrictions
  • Non-Medical Prescriber – V300
  • Clinical Examination and Diagnostics Level 7
  • Extensive senior paediatric experience within the emergency care / urgent care / acute hospital / or primary care settings
Working Arrangements:

Shifts available: Monday 9am to 4pm, Wednesday 9am to 3pm/3pm to 9pm/9am to 9pm, Thursday 9am to 3pm/3pm to 9pm/9am to 9pm, Friday 9am to 3pm/3pm to 9pm/9am to 9pm, Saturday 9am to 3pm/3pm to 9pm/9am to 9pm, Sunday 9am to 3pm/3pm to 9pm/9am to 9pm
