About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled School Governance Administrator to join our Cambridgeshire County Council team. As a key member of our School Governance Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering a high-quality clerking service to schools across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Writing detailed minutes to a consistently high standard
  • Providing procedural advice to governing bodies using legislation relating to school governance
  • Planning and facilitating governing body meetings in collaboration with the chair of governors and headteacher
  • Maintaining accurate records of governing body business and membership

Skill Requirements:

  • Excellent administrative, IT, and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently to deadlines
  • Flexibility to work at times convenient to the governing body

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £13.69 per hour, with hours and total pay based on the number of meetings each allocated school requires. This is different for each clerk.
