School Governance Administrator

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled School Governance Administrator to join our Cambridgeshire County Council team. As a key member of our School Governance Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering a high-quality clerking service to schools across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Writing detailed minutes to a consistently high standard
- Providing procedural advice to governing bodies using legislation relating to school governance
- Planning and facilitating governing body meetings in collaboration with the chair of governors and headteacher
- Maintaining accurate records of governing body business and membership
Skill Requirements:
- Excellent administrative, IT, and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently to deadlines
- Flexibility to work at times convenient to the governing body
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is £13.69 per hour, with hours and total pay based on the number of meetings each allocated school requires. This is different for each clerk.
