About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Intensive Support Team Lead to join our Respiratory Unit team. This challenging and rewarding role requires a highly skilled and motivated individual who can lead by example, promoting excellence in acute respiratory care and supporting the development of junior staff.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee the assessment, stabilization, and management of patients with complex respiratory needs, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including intensive care specialists, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Supervise junior staff and healthcare assistants, promoting a culture of excellence and ongoing professional development within the team.
  • Teach qualified and unqualified staff, including preregistered and post-basic students, to enhance their skills and knowledge in acute respiratory care.
Salary and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range £38,890 - £51,070 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package including pension scheme, annual leave entitlement, and access to training and education programs. Relocation assistance available.
