We are looking for an experienced Psychologist or Psychiatrist to lead our multidisciplinary team on Ruby ward, a 17-bedded female acute ward in Aylesbury. The ideal candidate will have exceptional clinical skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their expertise in adapting to changing circumstances of modern mental healthcare provision and show a genuine interest in working with individuals with severe mental illness and complex emotional needs.

This role offers numerous opportunities for professional development and growth, including teaching and training of medical students, postgraduate doctors, and other professionals, as well as appraising and mentoring consultant colleagues.

Applicants must be fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and on the Specialist Register or within six months of attaining their Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).

The salary range for this position is £143,363 - £189,657 per annum, including an excellent package of benefits, including an NHS Discount scheme, lease car scheme, cycle to work scheme, Employee Assistance Programme, Mental Health First Aiders, and staff networking groups.
