Job Title: Activities Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Activities Coordinator to join our team at Methodist Homes. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of activities for our residents, designed to promote social interaction, engagement, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a programme of activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
- Collaborate with the senior team to identify and address social care needs and preferences
- Design and deliver engaging group activities, including arts, crafts, games, and other leisure pursuits
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive community environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of adult social care principles and practices
