Business Development Consultant

VANRATH, a leading recruitment agency in Northern Ireland, seeks a seasoned recruitment professional to drive business development and talent acquisition efforts. As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for building relationships with clients and candidates, sourcing and screening candidates, and managing the full hiring process.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience, demonstrating exceptional performance in an agency setting. They should have a strong academic background, ambition, and confidence in engaging with senior professionals. Strong interpersonal skills, a high work ethic, and drive are essential for this role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing relationships with clients and candidates through phone calls, face-to-face meetings, and gaining a deep understanding of their business needs.
- Networking, interviewing, sourcing, and screening candidates.
- Registering vacancies, managing the hiring process, and developing new business opportunities.
You will enjoy an estimated base salary of £40,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a guaranteed earning level for year 1 as you build your desk within VANRATH. Additionally, you will receive uncapped commission of 20-25% on all placement fees generated, full client entertainment expenses paid for, private medical insurance, hybrid working arrangement (4 days in office), award days, and other company benefits.
