About the Role

We are seeking a skilled IT Communications Hardware Assistant to join our team at Wessex Water. As a key member of our IT Procurement team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of communications hardware and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve incidents related to mobile communication devices
  • Process service requests for mobile communication devices
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on telemetry faults
  • Recommend standard mobile communication devices
  • Set up and configure mobile communication devices
  • Maintain and update the CMDB and asset management systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement process improvements
Requirements
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with IT service management and asset management
  • Knowledge of Microsoft InTune, Samsung Knox, and Apple DEP
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
