Role Summary:
We are currently recruiting for a Wraparound Provision Coordinator to join our team at Semester in Newcastle upon Tyne. This role is part of the National Wraparound Project, aiming to improve early years and childcare settings.

As a key member of our team, you will support the development of new and expanded childcare provisions, monitor and report on targeted funding, and ensure parents and carers are aware of available services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in wraparound childcare, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to support professionals and the public in accessing services.

This temporary position starts ASAP, initially until 01/31/2025, with a likely extension. The estimated annual salary for this role is £28,000 - £30,000, based on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Identify service gaps through data analysis and inform development plans.
  • Support for Provision Expansion: Assist in developing new and expanded childcare services.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Track progress of a targeted start-up fund and produce reports as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work with partners, including schools, childcare providers, childminders, and parents, to raise awareness of available services and support.
  • Customer Support: Provide information and support to parents, providers, and schools regarding existing and new childcare options.
  • General Support: Contribute to enhancing childcare quality, workforce development, and training within the Early Years sector team.
