Job Title: Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENDCo)Location: Brent, Greater London
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Role:We are seeking an exceptional Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENDCo) to join our thriving Primary school community in Brent. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Develop and implement strategies to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of support staff, ensuring effective deployment and training.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create individual education plans (IEPs).
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and school policies related to SEND.
- Promote a culture of inclusion and high expectations for all students.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a minimum of three years' teaching experience.
- National Award for SEN Coordination or willingness to work towards it.
- Proven track record of working with students with a range of special educational needs.
- A deep commitment to inclusive education and the well-being of all students.
