Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical and managerial leadership to the Endoscopy department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Monitor and assist in the delivery of patient care, ensuring that all staff are working effectively and efficiently.
- Act as a role model and mentor to clinical staff, providing advice and support to promote good practice and develop the skills and knowledge of others.
- Ensure that effective systems are in place to manage stocks and supplies, and work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure compliance with financial instructions.
- Delegate appropriate activities to other staff and ensure objectives are met.
- Registered Nurse or ODP with at least 3 years' experience in Endoscopy Theatre.
- Previous experience in a similar capacity or in a recent senior role in a theatre setting for a minimum of 2 years.
- Endoscopy qualification advantageous, as would a Mentorship qualification or its equivalent.
