Job Overview

Spire Healthcare Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Endoscopy Practitioner to fill the role of Endoscopy Team Lead. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to take on a leadership position and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and managerial leadership to the Endoscopy department, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
  • Deputize for the Manager and Deputy, supporting them as required in the provision of appropriate clinical and managerial leadership throughout the department.
  • Monitor and assist in the delivery of patient care, ensuring that theatre utilization is maximized and clinical standards are maintained.
  • Act as a role model and mentor to clinical staff, providing advice and support to promote good practice consistent with legislation and Spire Healthcare's policies.
  • Encourage, develop, and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self, ensuring that effective systems are in place to manage stocks according to financial instructions.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse or ODP with at least 3 years' experience in Endoscopy Theatre.
  • Previous employment in a similar capacity or recent senior role in a theatre setting for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Endoscopy qualification advantageous, as is a Mentorship qualification or its equivalent.
