Mental Health Social Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Social Worker to join our team at the NHS in Devon. As a Mental Health Social Care Specialist, you will be working closely with individuals with mental health conditions, providing a high-quality social care pathway in line with the requirements of the Care Act 2014.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive working knowledge of social care delivery, be up-to-date with policy and practice development, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A strong focus on offering a personalised and person-centred approach to assessment, support planning, safeguarding, and review is essential.
This role requires travel to various locations, sometimes urgently, so a current full driving license and access to a vehicle are necessary. Flexible working opportunities, including part-time hours, flexitime, and homeworking, are available. The salary for this position is £32,000 - £43,041 per annum, depending on experience.
