We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team on a locum basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a CAMHS inpatient unit in Oxford, providing high-quality care to young persons and carers.

About the Role:

  • Managing the ward, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and maintaining a safe environment for patients.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for young persons and carers.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans that cater to the diverse needs of patients.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing.
  • Proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
  • Valid NMC Registration.
  • Experience in mental health care or the care of young people (e.g., within CAMHS).
  • Experience of working within a CAMHS inpatient unit.
  • Experience working in a psychiatric intensive care unit.

Salary Details: Estimated salary: £21 per hour (assignment rate)
