About this role: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to our residents.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
  • Supporting the clinical team in specific areas, such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
  • Carefully respecting the dignity and preferences of our residents and creating a warm, welcoming environment.

We are looking for individuals who:
  • Have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
  • Possess specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
