Job Summary

We are offering a competitive salary of approximately £28,000 per annum for a Payroll Administrator to join our friendly team. As Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing and administering payroll processes across a diverse portfolio of clients on a weekly/monthly/fortnightly basis via SAGE.

  • Deal with BACS payments ensuring they are processed in an effective and timely manner.
  • Deal with auto-enrolment pension processing.
  • Deal with SSP/SMP/SSP and PAYE.
  • Ensure smooth processing of new starters/leavers, P45/P46's/P60's.
  • Liaise with HMRC and RTI filing, end-of-year processing.
  • Client liaison dealing with any taxation/payment queries effectively.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with SAGE software and payroll experience either within an accountancy/bureau or in-house payroll processing role.
  • Confident and friendly telephone manner to engage effectively with clients.
