Care Team Leader

Award-winning Sandmere Care Home in Margate, Kent, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Care Assistant to lead our care team and deliver exceptional care to our residents.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating shifts, leading by example, and ensuring the highest standard of care. With a kind, caring, and compassionate personality, you'll foster a team ethos, welcome visitors, and respond promptly to emergencies.
We offer a competitive salary of £15.00 per hour, plus benefits including paid DBS, onsite parking, and pension scheme. As part of Care Concern Group, we're passionate about creating fantastic care homes and supporting our team members in their growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the care team and ensure the delivery of exceptional care
- Coordinate shifts and manage team performance
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for all staff
- Welcome visitors and showcase the home's facilities
- Respond promptly to emergencies and assess situations
Requirements:
- SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential)
- Practical Medication Administration with competencies (required)
- A compassionate nature and sense of fun
