Residential Care Team Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Senior Care Assistant to join our care team at Sandmere Care Home in Margate, Kent. As a Senior Residential Care Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional levels of care and support to our residents.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating shifts, leading by example, and ensuring the performance of your team during each shift. You will also be responsible for fostering a team ethos, welcoming visitors, and responding promptly to emergency call bells.
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in health and social care, preferably with a SVQ/NVQ Level 3 qualification or actively working towards it. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a kind and compassionate nature.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate shifts and lead by example
- Foster a team ethos and welcome visitors
- Respond promptly to emergency call bells
- Write and update care plans, risk assessments, and case notes
The salary for this position is £20 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and additional benefits, including paid DBS, uniform provided, and up to 6 weeks annual leave. We also offer a pension scheme and onsite parking.
