Educational Support Assistant

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Monmouthshire. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for supporting students with ASD on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with ASD, adapting teaching strategies to meet their unique needs
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities, promoting inclusive learning environments
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Requirements:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare or education, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 6 months' experience working with children with special educational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
