Pastoral Learning Mentor Job Description

GSL Education is looking for a highly motivated Pastoral Learning Mentor to join our team at a secondary school in Tower Hamlets.

This role involves working closely with students, teachers, and parents to support the social, emotional, and academic development of students.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Student Support: Provide individualized support to students to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  2. Behavioural Guidance: Help students develop positive behaviors and attitudes towards learning.
  3. Transition Assistance: Support students during transitions between lessons to ensure smooth progress.
  4. Collaborative Working: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support individual student needs.
About the Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in mentoring, youth work, or a related field is an advantage.
