About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Actuary to join our Open Actuarial Reporting & Change (OARC) team as a Lead Review Actuary. This is a 12-month fixed term contract or secondment basis, where you will provide a professional service applying actuarial, technical & business knowledge to support the delivery of informed & effective decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production, analysis, and communication of MI on our growing bulk purchase and individual annuity portfolio, with a focus on the impact of asset trading and ERMs backing the annuity liabilities.
  • Development of new business reporting processes for our new smoothed managed pension funds.

Requirements

  • Qualified Actuary with varied experience in actuarial reporting and change, or other life actuarial disciplines with a strong track record of delivery in a commercial environment.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting metrics, including Solvency II, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and drive action through influence and collaboration across boundaries, and to communicate effectively with a variety of colleagues and senior stakeholders from different disciplines across the business.
