About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Coaching Professional to join our Emerging Talent Centre team at Forest Green Rovers Football Club. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for delivering elite coaching sessions to young players aged 9-14 years old, focusing on intensity and technical ability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality coaching sessions to young players, aligning with the club's elite female football pathway
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate coaching sessions to ensure optimal player development
  • Work collaboratively with the coaching team to maintain a positive and supportive development environment
  • Contribute to the welfare and safety of young players, adhering to the club's Safeguarding Children Policies
  • Participate in matchday activities, including U15 and U16 games, as required

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Level 2 football coaching badge
  • Experience working in school, club, or community sporting settings
  • Good communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced CRB Certificate or Current FA DBS Clearance
  • FA Safeguarding & Emergency aid/ BFAS Qualifications
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to the club's environmental ethos
