Warranty Analyst Job Description

A leading manufacturing and production company in the Ipswich area is seeking a skilled Warranty Analyst to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive salary range of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Warranty Claims Processing: Review and process warranty claims, collaborating with service and engineering departments as needed.
  • Performance Metrics: Prepare and report departmental KPIs through scheduled data extracts.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analytics to inform business decisions, presenting evidence-based recommendations for product design and manufacturing improvements.
  • Warranty Returns Management: Oversee the warranty returns process, including communication with dealers and suppliers regarding product returns for investigation.
  • Warranty Registration: Manage warranty registrations, ensuring accurate documentation is stored to validate warranty periods.
  • Dealer Training and Auditing: Conduct training and auditing of dealer partners (local and abroad) to minimize the negative impact of vehicle faults on customers.
  • Project Work: Take on specific projects as requested and perform other duties as required in the daily running of the customer care department.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree-level education or equivalent in a business or finance field is desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently, as this is a sole role.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to summarize and communicate results from large amounts of data both visually and in writing.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in an Analyst or Warranty Administrator role is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft-based applications and IT literacy are necessary.
  • Time Management: Ability to work well under time pressure.
  • Desirable Skills: Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite is desirable.
