Warranty Claims Specialist

A leading manufacturing and production company in the Ipswich area is seeking a skilled Warranty Analyst to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Thursday, with a competitive salary range of £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and process warranty claims, collaborating with service and engineering departments as needed.
- Prepare and report departmental KPIs through scheduled data extracts.
- Utilize data analytics to drive business improvements, presenting evidence-based recommendations for product design and manufacturing enhancements.
- Manage warranty returns, including communication with dealers and suppliers regarding product returns for investigation.
- Oversee warranty registrations, ensuring accurate documentation is stored to validate warranty periods.
- Audit and train dealer partners on warranty processes to minimize the negative impact of vehicle faults on customers.
- Supervise warranty interns during their annual placement.
- Take on specific projects as requested and perform other duties as required in the daily operation of the customer care department.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a business or finance field (desirable).
- Experience working independently, as this is a sole role.
- Ability to summarize and communicate results from large datasets, both visually and in writing.
- Previous experience in an Analyst or Warranty Administrator role.
- Ability to analyze and compile necessary data, then present recommendations to management.
- Proficient in Microsoft-based applications and IT literate.
- Ability to work well under time pressure.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (desirable).
- A nine-day working fortnight (every other Friday off work).
