Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Warranty Claims Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and processing warranty claims, preparing and reporting key performance indicators, and using data analytics to drive business improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process warranty claims in accordance with our warranty policy, consulting with service and engineering departments as needed;
- Prepare and report key performance indicators through scheduled data extracts;
- Use data analytics to identify areas for business improvement and present evidence-based recommendations to management;
- Manage the warranty returns process, including communications with dealers and suppliers about product returns for investigation;
- Audit and train dealer partners on warranty processes to minimize the negative impact of vehicle faults on our customers;
- Take on specific projects as requested and perform other duties as required in the daily running of the customer care department.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a business or finance field or similar is desirable;
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to summarise and communicate results from large amounts of data both visually and in words;
- Ability to analyse and compile necessary data, then present recommendations to management;
- Proficient in Microsoft-based applications and IT literate;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining effective communications regarding status and updates of functions;
- Must possess the ability to interface effectively with other functional areas of the company as well as a worldwide customer base;
- Effective time management skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines;
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite is desirable;
