About the Role
We are seeking an experienced midwife to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a midwife with a strong background in women's health, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement individualized midwifery care that is centered on the needs of women, pregnant individuals, and their families.
- Facilitate participation in decision-making and ensure informed choice dialogue.
- Ensure risk assessments and referrals are completed and documented.
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to implement patient care and report any deviations from protocols.
- Organize midwife-patient allocation and support junior and student colleagues.
- Ensure clinical records comply with Trust and regulatory requirements.
- Practice evidence-based midwifery and be competent in all areas of midwifery skills.
- Participate in continuous professional development and mandatory training.
Person Specification
- Current NMC Registered Midwife.
- Able to demonstrate a good level of theoretical midwifery knowledge.
- Experience of working in all clinical areas.
- Communication skills to relate and communicate with patients and staff at all levels.
