Experienced Midwife

We are seeking an experienced midwife to join our vibrant maternity team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a midwife, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based care to women and their families, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Main Responsibilities- Plan and implement individualized midwifery care that is centered on the needs of women, pregnant people, and their families.
- Facilitate informed decision-making and ensure that service users and their families are actively involved in their care.
- Ensure that all risk assessments and referrals are completed and documented, and that midwifery/obstetric guidelines are followed.
- Organize and manage the clinical workload, prioritizing care and ensuring that it is delivered in a timely and effective manner.
- Contribute to the development of students, midwives, and oneself, and participate in continuous professional development.
We are looking for a midwife with a minimum of 1 year of experience, who is registered with the NMC and has a good level of theoretical midwifery knowledge. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in all clinical areas, and be able to contribute to the development of students, midwives, and oneself.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively with patients and staff at all levels. They will also be able to adapt their communication style as necessary, and be able to work with and through others to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
