About the Role

We are seeking an experienced midwife to join our vibrant maternity team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based midwifery care to women and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement individualized midwifery care that is centered on the needs of women, pregnant individuals, and their families.
  • Facilitate informed decision-making and ensure that all risk assessments and referrals are completed and documented.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Manage the clinical workload effectively and contribute to the delivery of a cost-effective service.
  • Participate in the orientation and development of new staff and contribute to the appraisal process.
Person Specification

We are looking for a midwife with:

  • Current NMC registration
  • Experience of working in all clinical areas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to contribute to the development of students and colleagues
