About the Role

We are seeking an experienced midwife to join our vibrant Maternity Team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to women and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement individualized midwifery care that is centered on the needs of women, pregnant individuals, and their families.
  • Facilitate informed decision-making and ensure that all risk assessments and referrals are completed and documented.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement patient care and report any deviations from protocols.
  • Organize midwife-patient allocation and support junior and student colleagues.
  • Ensure clinical records comply with Trust and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and maintain competence in all areas of midwifery skills.
  • Satisfy the Clinical Governance agenda in all aspects of care delivery.

Requirements

  • Current NMC Registered Midwife
  • Experience of working in all clinical areas
  • Ability to contribute to the development of students, midwives, and oneself
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with and through others
