Job Overview

We offer a full-time, substantive position (10 Programmed Activities) with a competitive salary of £96,990 - £107,155 per annum. Our Care of the Elderly services have been developed extensively over the last few years, providing high-quality Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment for all patients who require it.

As a Geriatric Medicine Specialist, you will be part of a well-integrated team, working closely with consultant physician geriatricians, ACPs, junior doctors, and experienced ward nursing teams. You will practice across inpatient wards and emergency departments, contributing to the provision of a high-quality service.

Our hospital operates from three main sites: Furness General Hospital, Royal Lancaster Infirmary, and Westmorland General Hospital, as well as various community healthcare premises. We provide a range of general hospital services, including Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units, and Consultant-led services.
