About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Histopathologist to join our team at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting histopathological examinations and providing diagnostic reports
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to patient care
  • Developing and implementing new diagnostic techniques and protocols
  • Providing teaching and training to junior staff and medical students

Requirements

  • Full GMC registration with a License to Practice
  • On GMC specialist register or within 6 months of interview date
  • Experience of clinical histopathology and undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
