About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Histopathologist to join our team at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct histopathological examinations and provide accurate diagnoses
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care
  • Develop and implement new diagnostic techniques and protocols
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve service delivery and patient outcomes
Requirements
  • FRCPath or equivalent qualification
  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice
  • Experience in clinical histopathology and undergraduate/postgraduate teaching
