Engineering Job Opportunity
A leading groundworks sub-contractor in the commercial sector is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to manage the engineering aspects of their projects. This role involves overseeing the setting out of drainage, kerbs, roads, and paving, as well as ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and experience in using Leica – robotic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage site set up, QA, and AS built surveys
* Collaborate with the Project Manager and foreman to achieve project goals
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and develop effective procedures to minimize delays and costs
* Complete all setting out tasks associated with the groundworks project, including drainage and roads
* Provide technical expertise on design issues and resolve any queries that may arise

Essential Qualifications:
* Hold a valid CSCS card
* Possess SMSTS or SSSTS certification (Desirable)
* Demonstrate minimum 3-5 years of experience working in groundworks construction
* Hold a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications
* Showcase proficiency in using Leica – robotic equipment

This role offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
