Job Title: Site Operations Manager

Our client is a leading groundworks sub-contractor in the commercial sector, currently recruiting a Site Operations Manager for a 6 month contract. This role requires managing the engineering aspects of the project, including setting out drainage, kerbs, roads and paving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with the foreman
  • Managing QA and completing AS built surveys
  • Sites setup and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Completing all setting out associated with the groundworks project, including drainage/roads
  • Raising technical queries on design issues

Requirements:
  • CSCS card
  • SMSTS or SSSTS – desirable but not essential
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience working with groundworks contractors
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or time served
  • Experience using Leica – robotic equipment

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
