Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to this, we offer a sleep-in payment of £65/night, which adds up to £3,120 per year for one weekly shift. Our comprehensive benefits package includes fully funded training, allowing you to develop your skills and enhance your career prospects.
About the Role:
This is a challenging yet rewarding role, requiring a unique blend of care, compassion, and creativity. As a Residential Child Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing daily care and support to children in our residential setting, developing strong relationships with them, their families, and colleagues. You will contribute to a safe and healthy environment, promoting the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of children, and collaborate with the care team to plan and deliver activities that promote social, emotional, and educational development.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a residential setting
- Qualifications in childcare or a related field, such as NVQ3
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including sleep-ins and evenings
