At Randstad, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Autism Mentor to join our team. As a Specialist Autism Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting university students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one guidance and support to students with ASD, helping them to overcome academic challenges and build confidence.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with students, academic staff, and other support services to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust support plans as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of autism-specific resources and training for staff and students.

Requirements:

  • Membership with a professional body such as BACP, BPS, HCPC, NCPS, NMC, SWE, SCW, UMHAN, or COSCA.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
