About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior Manager to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Audit team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality audit services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage audit teams to deliver high-quality audit services to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Identify and recognize business and sales opportunities with new entities and inform the Partner as appropriate.
  • Act as an ambassador of the firm, participating in office marketing events and keeping abreast of the wide range of services the firm offers.
  • Recruit, retain, develop, and motivate employees, including participating in graduate recruitment and ensuring job appraisal documentation is completed within deadlines.
Requirements
  • ACCA/ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
  • Previous experience of managing people.
  • Good working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements.
  • Working knowledge of financial products, firm services, issues regarding advice and regulation, and compliance, including anti-money laundering.
  • Experience of systems/controls testing as well as substantive auditing, including consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts, and disclosures.
  • Project Management experience.
