Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Audit team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit services to major audited entities, including those with international interests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a wide portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of audit services.
  • Develop and implement effective audit strategies, including systems/controls testing and substantive auditing of complex financial statement areas.
  • Lead and manage a team of auditors, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality audit services.
  • Identify and convert opportunities to sell work, demonstrating robust commercial and financial management of a portfolio of audited entities.
  • Stay up-to-date with UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements, applying this knowledge to deliver high-quality audit services.
Requirements
  • ACCA/ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
  • Significant experience of delivering audit and other assurance services to major audited entities, including those with international interests.
  • Proven experience in managing a wide portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams.
  • Excellent working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements.
  • Ability to manage and develop a team, including coordinating projects, mentoring, and supporting with recruitment.
  • Business development experience, with the ability to identify and convert opportunities to sell work.
Desirable
  • Sector experience appropriate to BDO audited entities.
  • Experience with listed audited entities.
  • Experience auditing international groups and working with other worldwide BDO offices.
