About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior Manager to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Audit team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit services to our clients, while also contributing to the growth and development of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage audit teams to deliver high-quality audit services to clients
  • Develop and implement audit strategies to meet client needs and expectations
  • Manage and develop a team of audit professionals, including mentoring and coaching
  • Identify and convert business opportunities to drive growth and revenue
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes, and apply this knowledge to improve audit services
Requirements
  • ACCA/ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent
  • Significant experience of delivering audit and other assurance services to major audited entities
  • Proven experience in managing a wide portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams
  • Excellent working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements
  • Strong business development skills, with ability to identify and convert opportunities to sell work
Desirable
  • Sector experience appropriate to BDO audited entities
  • Experience with listed audited entities
  • Experience auditing international groups and working with other worldwide BDO offices
