Job Title: Senior Specialist Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Specialist Nurse to join our Child Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team in North Essex. As a Senior Specialist Nurse, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working together to support the delivery of evidence-based interventions to children, young people, and families experiencing emotional and mental health difficulties.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside the Clinical Lead and Team Manager to support the delivery of psychological support across the service.
  • Be responsible for assessment, treatment, and systematic outcome measurement.
  • Provide clinical supervision of staff and be accountable for your own professional actions.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a post-graduate training in psychological practice.
  • Extensive experience of working with difficult, disturbed, or challenging children/young people requiring skilled and complex interventions.
  • Extensive experience of working with children and adolescents with co-morbid difficulties and special needs.
