Becoming a Children and Families Mentorship Volunteer with us is an exceptional chance to make a difference in the lives of families. As a volunteer, you will work closely with families, building strong relationships and offering guidance and support.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Visit families in their homes on a weekly basis, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities that promote positive parenting and school readiness.
- Travel to and from the volunteer's home or meeting place, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.
- Complete a detailed visit record form after each session, detailing your interactions and observations.
- Draw from your experience working with families or children, or leverage your personal experiences as a parent or carer.
