Clinical Lead School Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Lead School Nurse to join our team in Essex Child & Family Wellbeing Service. As a key member of our public health nursing team, you will play a crucial role in providing preventative and supportive healthcare to children, young people, and their families.
Job Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of the healthy child programme at all four levels, ensuring effective collaboration with schools and local authorities.
- Manage a caseload of work for school staff nurses and support staff, prioritising tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve health outcomes for children and young people, working closely with other healthcare providers and community agencies.
- Provide mentorship and supervision to junior staff members, supporting their professional development and career progression.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in public health nursing and experience of working in a similar setting. A Band 6 Salary (£41,787 - £62,114) is offered, along with access to exclusive benefits and rewards.
